Finally getting some snow, after weeks of unusually warm weather. Shot this in Paris yesterday.
Had much more snow here in Kitchener than in Paris, about 10″ or so, Paris only had a light dusting. Took this picture in mid-dust.

Railroad cars are built in Hamilton, Ontario, at National Steel Car, which is in the same area as Dofasco Steel. It is bizarre to watch 40-50 car trains go by with absolutely new cars on them. No graffiti at all. Its like someone just took them out of the box.
They look like they need a bit of weathering done to them.
This train went by us and made the most unusual noise. Not the normal “railroady” sounds came from the cars, just a hushed hiss of new wheels and bearings coasting by.
