Seagram's Distillery
Blue Windows
Sort of railroad related, I once rode in a yard engine as it switched cars in and out of this place in Waterloo, Ontario. Back when engineers would invite you into the engines for a ride. I’m sure our helpful insurance companies have thankfully put an end to all that….

Seagram’s has long since pulled out of this area, and the remaining buildings converted into lofts, which is a good use for the space, at least they weren’t torn down. There used to be two HUGE monolithic buildings here, about 8-10 stories high, all brick, and not a single window in either of them. These were where the spirits were aged. These buildings were torn down, reveling a couple of great looking buildings hidden in behind them. These buildings each had hundreds of windows, which have all been restored and outfitted with these blue shutters.
