You can’t help but have respect for these two when looking at this picture. Now, like the era they owned, they are surely gone. Theirs was a time when a 12 hour day was unquestioned, loyalty to the company was expected, and respect from an employer was returned. The work was hard and dirty, but also rewarding. In the days of cheap labour, companies were families, and you were taken care of, cradle to grave. In the days before a society of entitlement, you earned what you got, and got nothing you didn’t earn.

Plus I’ll bet that guy in the right could really fart.
