Its hard not to find interesting items to photograph around this place! This was taken from the opposite side of the bay with a 300mm lens. Its interesting how the lens compresses distance, as I am probably 2000 feet from this building. The water is compressed quite a bit, which has a saturating effect on the blue, this isn’t an effect I applied, its how the image came out of the camera. Well, almost, I did some minor adjustments, but I didn’t saturate the blue.

Shot at the same location as yesterday’s picture, looking into Dofasco Steel in Hamilton.

This switcher, and several others like it in the area, is remote controlled, and seems a bit odd moving around by itself. Just like watching a model railroad….
