Bayview Junction
This was taken last summer from the bridge at Bayview Junction in Hamilton, Ontario. I know it isn’t a steam engine, but I do like red things.

K-5-a Hudson #5700 cab
Another steamer at St. Thomas. This one looks like it could be fired up and go, but it isn’t in running condition. This engine is pulled out of the shops during open houses and for a donation you can go up inside the cab. This day there was a retired CNR engineer on hand explaining what all these items do, it was quite interesting.
This engine is numbered 5700, but it is actually 5703. Originally slated to be scrapped at the end of the steam era in 1960, 5703 received new lease on life when the original 5700, which was marked for preservation, accidentally had a cutting torch taken to it. Realizing their mistake, Canadian National pulled 5703 from the scrap line and renumbered it 5700.
